Pantheism/Unitarianism
摘要
Pantheism is a philosophical-religious doctrine that, as the etymology of the word shows, sees God (theos) in the whole or everywhere (pan). Accordingly, God is not a being separated from his creation, as the main currents of the three large monotheistic religions claim, but he is everywhere in his creation and permeates it. He is the whole of creation. Even though they resemble each other in some respects, pantheism should not be confused with panentheism, which asserts the immanence of the whole in God, whereas pantheism postulates the immanence of God in the whole. For the panentheists, pantheism leads to the, for them, unacceptable consequence that God can no longer be thought of as a transcendent being, while panentheism maintains this transcendence.
