Is There a Healthy Diet for Everyone?
摘要
After Chaps. 1 – 15 have provided readers with the current science- and practice-based knowledge on losing weight and maintaining weight loss, a brief excursus now follows into the significant limitations of nutritional research. This is because the (for many, certainly surprising) realization of the lack of causal evidence (proof/cause-and-effect documentation) for healthy eating is essential additional knowledge for implementing an individualized dietary change that does not prescribe “allowed” foods. The core of I DIET MY WAY is based on the free choice of foods that one enjoys and tolerates well. This chapter alleviates the “fear” of supposedly unhealthy foods and instead provides a sense of security in the individual selection of preferred foods.
