Three Who Made It

There is no question that the majority of people who want to lose weight fail to maintain their reduced weight in the long term. But for many, especially those who are very overweight, even reducing their body weight by double-digit kilograms is an enormous challenge—but it can be done. By presenting and linking to three current real-life success stories, this chapter serves as additional motivation, demonstrating through genuine “living examples” that with strong willpower and individually tailored methods for sustainable weight reduction, these goals are achievable. Such people do exist. That is inspiring.
