Household-Related Services for Self-Determined Living
摘要
Household-related services (HRS) ensure reliable everyday care for people with chronic illnesses. Thus form the basis for quality of life and additional services (e.g. nursing) within the care arrangement. The concept of domestic care enables participation both in the practical tasks of household work and in household management. HRS have a number of structural challenges and barriers, including issues related to privacy and affordability. Quality standards and professionalization are politically supported and implemented by legal HRS providers. Successful arrangements require an awareness among the involved professions of the central importance of household work and HRS to enable a self-determined live of people with chronic illnesses.
