The aim of this article is to present the forms of interprofessional education, interprofessional practice, and interprofessional collaboration. Competency models for interprofessional practice and collaboration are explained. Furthermore, supportive and hindering framework conditions for interprofessional collaboration are summarized, and finally, recommendations for interprofessional collaboration in large teams are provided.
