Migration and Chronic Care
摘要
People with a migration background may differ in their health from those without a migration background. Stressful working conditions, an unfavorable social situation, and discrimination contribute to health disadvantages. In healthcare, this population group often encounters barriers that can negatively affect both access to services and care outcomes. Diversity-sensitive care strategies that take into account not only migration background but also other diversity characteristics and their interrelationships can help make healthcare more user-oriented for the entire population. Healthcare facilities have various strategies at their disposal to implement such care.
