Psychological and Psychosomatic Approaches to Illness
摘要
This article presents theoretical models for describing the development and maintenance of health disorders. The approaches focus on the interactions between body and mind and how they jointly influence illness and health. In the context of chronic care, it is important to understand these approaches in order to achieve better treatment outcomes and a higher quality of life for people with chronic illnesses through a holistic consideration of physical, psychosomatic, and psychological diseases as well as their effects on patients.
