Health Aspects of Amateur Singing
摘要
The exploration of health-relevant effects of communal singing in everyday life is the subject of social and health science studies since the beginning of the millennium. Models that equally consider salutogenetic, cultural, and biological aspects often serve to classify the empirical literature. The diversity of singing practices and traditions does not contradict the specific emotional, cognitive, and social effects of singing on individual well-being. The promotion of well-being and quality of life and the aestheticization of everyday life through communal singing are equally important goals.
