Music in the Treatment of Depression from the Perspective of Music Therapy and Music Psychology
摘要
This multi-perspective chapter brings together basic theoretical assumptions and empirical findings from various disciplines in order to demonstrate the potential and limitations of music and music-making in the treatment of depressive disorders and to derive research desiderata. The focus lies on severe depression in its chronic and recurrent form, whereby depression is understood in this chapter as a psychosomatosis disorder of emotion regulation.
