Psychotherapy in Domestic Violence: Victims and Affected Individuals
摘要
Psychotherapeutic interventions for individuals affected by domestic violence must take into account not only disorder-specific and therapeutic aspects, or those related to relationship management, etc., but also several other frequently occurring phenomena. In particular, all interventions must be aligned with safety-critical aspects, each based on a professional risk assessment. Central to the treatment and/or counseling of victims is the knowledge of so-called Stockholm phenomena or the so-called Battered Woman Syndrome.
