This chapter presents the more recent field of rectus diastasis treatment using robot-assisted procedures. A literature review provides the context of the clinical significance of this operation and sets the framework for indications and contraindications. The classification of rectus diastasis, the normal measurements of the linea alba and the types of rectus diastasis are summarized in tabular form and in new illustrations to help the reader determine the indications. Four robotic-assisted surgical procedures are presented: ENDoscopic Onlay-Reparation (r-ENDOR), Extended Totally-ExtraPeritoneal (r-eTEP), TransAbdominal-RetroMuscular (r-TARM) and Laparoscopic Intracorporal Rectus-Aponeuroplasty (r-LIRA). A video of the r-ENDOR procedure is attached.
