In this chapter, we describe the functioning of telescopes, which are the most important tools of astronomers. With them, one can recognize details on the surfaces of relatively nearby celestial bodies such as the sun, moon, and planets. On the other hand, telescopes also collect light, and with them, one can see stars that would not be visible to the naked eye.

摘要

In this chapter, we describe the functioning of telescopes, which are the most important tools of astronomers.
