Literature and natural science can be characterized and evaluated by their different features. While intuition, rhetoric, and tradition are on the side of literature, natural science is often characterized by systematics, logic, and progress. When these characteristics are demonstrated by different authors in the following, it will become apparent that a clear idea of the primacy of one side or the other has not yet emerged.

Literature and natural science can be characterized and evaluated by their different features.
