Synthesis and Derivatization of Alkenes and Alkynes
摘要
CC-multiple bonds may be considered one of the most versatile functional groups in organic chemistry, along with carbonyl derivatives. Olefins constitute a platform functionality that enables the selective introduction of 1,2-difunctionalized segments in a carbon backbone through a variety of oxidative methods. Furthermore, their stereoconfiguration is a handle that allows for subsequent diastereo- and enantioselective conversions to proceed. For this reason, it is not surprising that in addition to a wide range of olefin derivatizations, an equivalent effort has gone into accessing alkenes not only efficiently, but diastereoselectively as well.
