My Homeland Ukraine
摘要
Since 2014, parts of Ukraine have been occupied by Russian troops. In the Donbass in the southeast, fighting has repeatedly occurred; in Crimea, following the invasion of the “little green men” who were actually Russian special forces, a consistent Russification was implemented—those who did not want a Russian passport faced problems. The Russian build-up on the eastern border of Ukraine throughout 2021 was unmistakable even for a newspaper reader—the satellite images of over 100,000 Russian soldiers with their vehicles were too obvious.
