This paper explores the integration of TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) and Design Thinking as a comprehensive approach to foster innovation and problem-solving. While TRIZ provides a systematic methodology for solving technical and inventive problems using inventive principles and patterns of innovation, Design Thinking offers a human-centered approach that emphasizes empathy, ideation, prototyping, and testing to meet user needs. By combining the structured, analytical approach of TRIZ with the empathetic, creative process of Design Thinking, this paper proposes a novel framework that leverages the strengths of both methodologies to tackle complex challenges. Through theoretical analysis and a practical application case, this study demonstrates how the integration of TRIZ and Design Thinking can lead to more innovative, user-centered solutions that are technically feasible and viable in the market. The aim is to provide practitioners and scholars with insights into how these methodologies can be synergistically applied to enhance innovation and user centricity.
