Flowers and blossoms with their radiant colours are usually visible from afar, and when there is a lot going on at the same time - such as a meadow abounding in dandelions along with the orchard in full bloom - individual blossoms are only ever a small part of the whole picture. Yet even before the actual flowering period starts, much is to be admired about the structure of the buds and their intriguing colour play. It’s worth taking a closer look.
