Fields of Action for Energetic-Ecological Urban Transformation
摘要
The fields of action described in this chapter for the energetic-ecological urban transformation specify the necessary construction and spatial planning measures to develop cities and the surrounding landscape in a livable and ecological way. The green design of living, buildings, and public spaces plays a central role in this. Ways to restore ecological cycles are pointed out. For the quality of life in cities, both buildings in healthy construction methods are needed as well as urban structures that pay attention to health and comfort. The solar power and heat generation to be newly integrated into the cities pose functional and design requirements that are described. Energy cultural landscapes can be developed in the vicinity of cities, either site-specific or on a large scale. They form a planning model for supplying cities with electricity from renewable energies. The transport development of cities and their surroundings will shift in its priorities. The approaches to improving public transport accessibility, measures for bicycle friendliness, and the transformation in the motor vehicle sector are described. As further infrastructure, the energy networks and energy storage are discussed, which represent a supporting keystone of the energetic transformation.
