The energetic-ecological urban transformation consists of individual components that build on the principles explained in the previous chapter. These include the historical development analysis of the model area and its division into prototypical urban and landscape spaces, which are spatially and temporally modeled in future scenarios. The system-relevant influencing factors in the development of future scenarios are referred to as “adjusting screws”. In addition to urban and infrastructural developments, population development and climate change must also be taken into account in the modeling. Starting from the current energy demand, the energy demand up to the forecast horizon must be determined. In this context, efficiency and sufficiency measures must be taken into account depending on the scenario, as well as the change in the composition of energy supply, which is becoming increasingly renewable. Based on the electricity, heat and fuel consumption, the current and future greenhouse gas emissions can be determined.

摘要
