Insights into the Influence on Prosocial Behavior
摘要
Social preferences show an involuntary alignment or a great interest in the needs and life of another person. This orientation particularly occurs in the perception and assessment of fairness in social interactions. Compassion or empathy, on the other hand, is the emotional component through which participation in critical situations or the fate of others is expressed. Research in “neuroeconomics” has shown that prosocial behavior is accompanied by activities in specific brain regions.
