In representations of psychopathology, a section for language disorders is usually missing. Aphasia is referred to as a language disorder which occurs due to an illness after a person has acquired the language in childhood as a native language. The language system trained in childhood in the brain is damaged. Aphasic language disorders occur as part of brain damage and brain degeneration syndromes — in severe schizophrenic psychoses are for example, paragrammatism, glossolalia in schizophasia, neologisms, and specific comprehension disorders observed.
