Endophthalmitis is one of the most vision-threatening emergencies and is considered a clear emergency surgery indication in ophthalmology. Young ophthalmic surgeons are faced with the challenge of quickly and efficiently conducting the medical history, diagnostics, team coordination, and surgical decision-making. The operation should be performed as quickly as possible to preserve any remaining vision. Beginners should start in doing PpV only in the very, very early stage of endophthalmitis.
