Neuroophthalmology
摘要
The broad spectrum of neuro-ophthalmological findings includes disorders of eye and pupil motor function as well as cerebral diseases and functional impairments. To arrive at meaningful imaging here, the application of new and little-known examination methods at the slit lamp is often necessary. The high temporal resolution of the video strip with 25 individual images per second is a fundamental basis for nystagmography and pupillometry. In the diagnosis of anisocoria, the documentation of pupil motor function must be combined with the methodology of binocular overview. In the case of optic nerve afflictions, the standardized examination and documentation of an RAPD is part of the basic diagnostics. Finally, fundus perimetry with the slit lamp console using a structured (double semicircle) aperture provides quick information for hemianopias. The findings of the slit lamp videography are repeatedly also compared with visual field findings.
