This Banded Demoiselle (above) and the Small Redeye (below) both fly backwards with stroking both pairs of wings set at steep angles on a horizontal trajectory forwards (Demoiselle 2nd and 4th phase from left to right) and backwards at shallower angles (Demoiselle 3rd).
