Acoustic Emission
摘要
Acoustic emission process is the release of ultrasonic energy by a system as it attempts to reattain a state of equilibrium in the frequency range above 20 kHz. Acoustic emission methods are non-destructive methods for materials testing based on the processing of digital signals. The most significant advantage of acoustic emission methods is the high sensitivity to crack growth. The method enables to detect the fracture of wood structures at a very early stage.
