Which Requirements Apply to High-Risk AI Systems?

The majority of the provisions of the AI Act concern high-risk AI systems. The following Chap. first describes the conditions under which an AI system is considered high-risk within the meaning of the AI Act (see Sect. 3.1). This is followed by a description of the requirements high-risk AI systems have to comply with (see Sect. 3.2). Subsequently, the obligations of the various operators (see Sect. 1.3 ) of AI systems are presented (see Sects. 3.3–3.5).
