Alfred Adler (1870–1937): Sudden Death During a Walk
摘要
This chapter is about the life and death of Alfred Adler—and its connection to the development of his method, Individual Psychology. Adler is the rather zestful, socially committed, warm-hearted helper type and the representative of an “optimistic psychology”, in whose theory death does not play a central role. As he travels almost hectically through the USA and Europe to spread his Individual Psychology, he succumbs—completely unexpectedly—and without a long struggle to a heart attack.
