Nossrat Peseschkian (1933–2010): Death in Sleep
摘要
This chapter is about Nossrat Peseschkian, the Iranian-German founder of positive psychotherapy. He is a bridge builder not only between East and West, but also between depth psychology and behavioral therapy, and between psychiatry and psychotherapy. His method is characterized by universally understandable simplicity and humor. He died as he lived in his last years: “It is easy to take life seriously. It is hard to take life lightly,” is one of the Peseschkian phrases by which he lived. He took life lightly and simply passed away without pain in his sleep.
