Psychological Causes of Problems

It should become clear in this chapter that the psychological processing processes and structures underlying psychological problems are often highly complex, and that the same “surface symptoms” can be traced back to very different processes. From this it is derived that therapists must first create an individual, psychological client model in each case before they make indication decisions.
