Module 1: Treatment Motivation
摘要
As already mentioned in previous chapters, patients with persistent somatic symptoms sometimes have a rather hesitant attitude towards psychotherapy. In this first module of the individual therapy treatment concept, the focus is therefore on various strategies that are intended to make the therapy concept transparent to the patient. This includes first briefly outlining the therapy content with the patient. In order for patients to feel validated, it is also useful to explore their symptom attributions. The clarification and formulation of therapy goals helps patients to reflect realistically on their therapy expectations. Finally, the patient should be explained the meaning and importance of a basic principle of cognitive behavior therapy—the therapeutic exercises carried out by the patient independently between sessions.
