Entertaining
摘要
We can identify several different possibilities for describing and classifying an ‘entertaining’ artifact such that it appears to be a (good or bad) exemplar of the arts. With respect to the element of ‘form,’ ‘entertainment’ is understood to refer to cheerful or exciting passages, and to the varied combination of these; it is highly conducive to the legitimization of ‘popular’ and many popular artifacts because hardly anybody wants to affirm its opposite, which is ‘boredom.’ By no means is it self-evident, however, that ‘entertaining’ artifacts should also be associated with ‘(good) works of art.’
