The Performance of Caesarean Section in Poor and Rich Countries (Misgav-Ladach-Sectio, “the Gentle Caesarean Section”)
摘要
The cesarean section will remain the only indicated laparotomy in the future. It is the most common emergency operation in both poor and rich countries. This chapter describes the individual surgical steps of the cesarean section, modified according to Misgav Ladach. In addition, the difficult child development with the child’s head deeply seated in the maternal pelvis is presented. Finally, the minimum structural and equipment requirements for performing a cesarean section, even under conditions of poverty, are described.
