Introduction to the Topic: Global Justice in the Face of Recolonization in Africa, Climate Change, the Ukraine War, and the Corona Pandemic

In order to assess the current state of development cooperation and to learn from past mistakes, this chapter provides an overview of the changes in modern German development policy since 1966, which is divided into different decades according to Büschel (Büschel 2010). Global health is the health of the population in a worldwide context. Global women’s health stands for modern gynecology and obstetrics of our time, which cooperates with other disciplines for the benefit of our patients and for the preservation of women’s health. The implementation of the ideas of Global Women’s Health takes into account the current changes in climate, the consequences of the Corona pandemic, the increasingly difficult conditions of people in poor countries, and the globally observable shortage of food and raw materials.
