Introduction
摘要
This introductory chapter lays the foundation for our book by providing an overview of the current state of regulation in the field of cybersecurity for road vehicles. We focus on presenting the key legal frameworks that are significant for manufacturers, including the EU Directive NIS-2, the UN Regulations No. 155 and No. 156, and other legal norms. These laws and regulations mark a significant step towards a more comprehensive consideration of cybersecurity in the automotive industry, which is taking a leading role in adapting to these new regulatory challenges. Furthermore, we provide a brief overview of the UN Regulation No. 155 and its relationship to the international standard ISO/SAE 21434.
