The Evolution to an Agile Organization
摘要
Becoming an agile organization is the vision of many companies at the start of an agile transformation. But is this vision suitable for every company? Not always, because especially in large companies, an agile organization that is organized as a fully fluid network can lead to scaling problems. Therefore, it is more important to define a clear vision before starting an agile transformation and to make the scope of the transformation tangible. For this purpose, the four maturity levels of corporate agility of the INSERT framework, starting from a self-oriented company to an agile organization, are analyzed and described in detail. The illustration of the advantages and disadvantages associated with the maturity levels provides important support for companies in defining their vision. In addition, the status quo can also be clearly defined with the model and the deviation between the start and target maturity level can make the scope of the transformation tangible. By using this model, the foundation for a successful agile transformation is laid.
