摘要

In addition to the classic syndromes caused by anatomical tunnels, which can occur more frequently in certain occupational groups or activities, this chapter deals with specific external pressure or traction damage to individual nerves. These often result from unphysiological postures or extreme and excessive movements. The most well-known and best-studied are the functional disorders and pain syndromes in athletes and musicians. In most cases - with the exception of the carpal tunnel syndrome (and cubital tunnel syndrome), which is not uncommon among musicians, and the suprascapular compression syndrome, which primarily occurs in athletes - they do not require surgical treatment, but a change in behavior or elimination of the specific exposure.
