Compression Syndromes of the Lateral Femoral Cutaneous Nerve (Meralgia Paraesthetica)
摘要
The compression neuropathy of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve at the level of the anterior superior iliac spine is one of the relatively rare compression syndromes. The nerve is usually compressed between both sheets of the inguinal ligament. Spontaneous recoveries have been observed in this compression syndrome. Pain and abnormal sensations can also be reduced through multiple infiltrations. In case of therapy resistance, we recommend the decompression of the nerve.
