This is the second installment of the author’s investigation of the Tyrsenian language family. After treating the preliminary issues in a first article in JLR 7, the present article is dedicated to the decipherment of the two texts on the Kaminia stele (but also takes other issues into account). A short gloss is offered for each individual word. For all but a few forms an Etruscan etymology is also proposed.

摘要

This is the second installment of the author’s investigation of the Tyrsenian language family. After treating the preliminary issues in a first article in JLR 7, the present article is dedicated to the decipherment of the two texts on the Kaminia stele (but also takes other issues into account). A short gloss is offered for each individual word. For all but a few forms an Etruscan etymology is also proposed.
