Summary, Conclusion, and Outlook

Chapter 12 presents a summary and conclusion of the present work that lays out key theoretical propositions of phenopractice theory. Next, key axioms of the theory are formulated as brief statements. An outlook on future research themes is presented. The methodological appendix then discusses key methodical and methodological questions raised by phenopractice theory. It considers how the ethnographic researcher him- or herself observes, gains insights, and comes to understand phenopractices; in particular when relying on eyesight or cameras.
