Active Ageing—Research on Creating a “Barrier-Free” Outdoor Living Environment for Home-Based Residential Care
摘要
This paper analyses the physical and psychological needs of the elderly, in combination with a study into the current state of residential areas. Focussing on “health”, “security” and “participation”, and fulfilling “five principles” for the elderly, this paper proposes an ideal lifestyle model for active elderly care, which satisfies the daily needs of the elderly in terms of recreation, social interaction, life care, medical care and travel convenience to truly give them a sense of participation, entertainment, support, care and learning (the “five principles”).
