Where do I Start and How do I Continue?—The Wrong English
摘要
Therapeutic storytelling can be done with simple anecdotes and in ordinary language. It is not necessary for the story told to be literarily perfect, as the therapeutic effect does not depend on this. What is important is that the story fits into the context of the therapy and contributes to the processing of the client’s concerns. For this purpose, it is useful to adapt stories to the current need by shortening, embellishing, or individually modifying them. The same story can also be meaningful in completely different contexts. When one story is finished, another can be told that expands or complements the meaning of the first.
