Where to Connect, Where to Lead?—Stops in the Landscape of Life
摘要
People seek therapy when they find themselves at a low point and fear that it may remain that way or get even worse. The therapist chooses a protagonist as an identification figure who is also in a crisis. A story is then told that leads from a low point to a high point and follows the rules of the chosen narrative genre, so that no objections arise from the client. The protagonist can either be a real or fictional person, the client himself at an earlier stage of life, the therapist, a well-known person, or a possible or evidently unreal figure invented by the therapist.
