What Kind of Stories can I Tell?—A Shelf Full of Dreams
摘要
This chapter distinguishes between different forms of therapeutic stories. They can be exemplary or metaphorical in nature and have positive, negative, or mysterious or open endings. There are dynamic stories with a sequence of actions in several steps, while static ones are more descriptive. Although the term “parable” would often be more appropriate than “metaphor”, we use the term “metaphorical” as it has become established in the field of coaching and therapy.
