Cautions, Limits, Contraindications, Effectiveness

摘要

This chapter provides a detailed discussion of the precautions to be taken when applying the therapy, as well as its limitations and contraindications. Ultimately, there is a presentation of the effectiveness of the method, which is characterized by its very short time requirement, usually one therapy session, its permanently stable positive change in attitudes, emotions, attributions, and relevant behaviors. Generalizations of these therapy effects on self-confident and problem-solving behavior in other areas can also be observed. Follow-up periods of over 45 years confirm these enduring successes—without symptom displacement. In addition to the time economy of the method for patient and therapist, its financial economy is particularly important for cost bearers.
