The Practical Case Seminar

This chapter deals exclusively with 16 detailed case presentations from therapeutic practice. These are intended to illustrate the specific approach to cognitive-behavioral hypnosis short-term therapy. Initially, there is a detailed case documentation, in which the literal therapist-patient communication and the methodological approach are conveyed. To support the learning processes, the individual steps of the 19 therapy steps are noted and commented on here. In the subsequent case presentationsCase seminar, the therapeutic approach is described and commented on in a more condensed manner. The numerous study questions involve the readers in the diagnostic and therapeutic considerations, and they receive quick feedback. The selection of cases and their order is staggered in terms of therapeutic and methodological difficulties. Also, in seemingly similar problem situations, the different approaches and the possible or necessary modifications of the method are to be conveyed.
