A Brief Introductory Story
摘要
All people experience great anxiety at some point in their lives, along with its numerous accompanying symptoms. It can be traumatizing and, especially when no personal coping strategies are available, can severely impair the quality of life of those affected. They then require psychotherapeutic treatment and, in cases of frequent chronicity and comorbidity, incur high costs in the health system. The author has over 50 years of experience as a psychotherapist and has been working with hypnosis for about 45 years. He developed a very effective form of therapy by combining cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with hypnosis and condensing it into a short form of psychotherapy for fears, which is generally permanently effective within one session. With an increasing need for psychotherapy and short therapies, the book offers a quickly learnable and practicable form of treatment. The follow-up studies on the cases span a period of up to 45 years.
