Project Control Management

Project Planning and Control is a central topic of project management and of great importance for technical and economic success. It involves the efficient control of the technical and financial aspects of a project, which must be planned and monitored in close cooperation from the outset, since the results are usually incomplete when considered on their own. The goal is to ensure that the specified technical performance has been achieved to the satisfaction of the client within the agreed time and cost target. Project control is a prime management function (PCM); see Fig. .
