Information Control
摘要
Information is an important aspect of project management. “Project managers use many communication channels, informal conversations (face-to-face), email, phone calls, meetings, and workshops.” (Barker, 2000). Information exchange in the project is the “salt in the soup.” Failure to communicate inevitably leads to project problems. A primary responsibility of the appointed project manager is to ensure that the required flow of information between the project team members is continuously maintained. Information control (IC) is a PM support function, see Fig. 5.4.
