Kanban
摘要
A Kanban system helps to minimize “Muda” and set up a process so that just-in-time production is possible. “Muda” describes any activity that consumes resources but does not create value. The challenge, therefore, is to provide the right parts in a flow process exactly at the right time, in the required quantity, at the right place. In Chap. 9, the Kanban method is introduced and illustrated with a practical example.
