Cold and Arthritis—Do They Go Together?
摘要
The young child with acute unilateral hip pain is a quite common case scenario in pediatric practice. The rapid performance of joint sonography together with the clinical picture allows the immediate diagnosis of Coxitis fugax and differentiation from other very important diagnoses (Morbus Perthes, septic coxitis). The disease is of benign course, but absolutely requires a clear differential diagnosis and certain exclusion of the above-mentioned further pathologies at the hip joint.
